Our Love story



An Indian Love story



This is a simple but true life story. This is "Our" story. Or should I say love story! Let me introduce us to you first. For privacy reasons I shall give out false names. So the hero of this story is named Raj and the heroine is called Simran. No don't worry I am not going to narrate to you the story of yet another DDLJ. (Just using those names to juice up this story). So we met in college for the first time. And simran being a conservative girl chose to ignore Raj. Not sure if Raj noticed her but if he did he didn't show any interest. So the first year of college just passed away with small Hi's and bye's here and there.

In second year we happen to take up the same subjects and had to wait for classes together. We used to wait in college for the class to start for almost two hours. Slowly but steadily our friendship started to develop. It started of with general teasing and turned out to be the best friendship ever. As time went by we became the best of friends ever. We became so close that college without each other used to seem dull and boring but with us together it was the best place to be in. We used to hang out in college to together and then also hang out after class for a while. But all that time wasn't enough. So we adopted the chatting method to stay connected. We used reach home at around 6 and after a break of 1 hr from each other we would again sit to catch up for a chat around 7. and this would go on until 9 30 - 10. We were so crazy. Yet when people confronted us about what was going on between us we said we were just friends and thats it. (and we weren't lying because we dint know what we had between us was more than friendship). All we knew was that we loved spending time with each other an d so we did that.

Anyway time passed by and we just became closer and closer. It began to hit us that we had started liking each other a little more than friendship. This was a scary thought. Each of us thought about this individually but didn't have the guts to actually approach this topic with each other. The problem was we knew that if we decided to take this relationship further we would face a lot of problems family wise.( I know typical Hindi film story, didn't believe all this happened in actual life also but when it did happen in our life I had no option but to believe it) . So since this was a dicey topic we chose not to touch it. But just couldn't get ourselves to draw away from each other. Final on November 22nd 2007 something happened. This was the first time we actually went out on a date. It was just both of us and was a simple coffee date. All through the date there was an unspoken romance in the air but none of us had the guts to talk anything about it. So we went home as usual around 6 and began our chat session at around 7. This is where it all started. It actually all started with a song. Not an extremely popular one but the best song for us . Raj was listening to Hum kis gali ja rahe hai by atif aslam. He confessed to Simran that that was his situation at present. She having no idea what was on his mind asked him why? (didn't know that this simple why would change her life forever). Raj confessed to her that he liked her a lot and was confused about what to do. they had a long discussion thinking about how things would work out and if they would have any future together. But all in vain. None of them had an answer to that question. So they decided to let things be and continue with how things were. This was easier said than done. Anyway 5 days went by without anyone approaching this topic. On 27^th November Raj asked Simran what she felt about him. He said that he had confessed all his feelings for her but she hadn't really said anything. She then confessed that she liked him too but wasn't sure what would happen in future. Having no idea about future they decided that they liked each other and thus would go ahead with this relationship.

After this the lovely and sweet romance started. They went for their first movie together on 3^rd December . That is when they realized that they meant a lot to each other. Any way things between them began to grow and they become even more closer. On 11^th of January 2008, Simran told Raj I love you for the first time. And although he had never said this to her before he was already in love with her.

After that day things were very strong between them. They love never stopped growing and is still growing. They have been many changes in their lives till date and they are really happy together. They know for a fact that they have a future together and they will make that happen and one day they will be married (happily) . It will be the best day of their life. Although family wise they will have to face many issues but they are prepared for it and will make sure that their this dream of always being together will come true. (no doubt about this).
